About Susan B. Anthony – Residential Transitional Housing

Susan B. Anthony Center is a residential transitional housing and addiction treatment facility for women. It’s based in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The location is accessible by public transit and close to social services, legal resources, and child welfare agencies. Cinnamon Place Park is also down the street.

This center is dedicated to helping women recover from substance use disorders while keeping their families together. There’s residential treatment, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and aftercare services with a strong focus on trauma-informed care and parenting support.

Families Come First

Susan B. Anthony Center provides residential treatment on a spacious campus. Clients value the unique opportunity to have their children live onsite during recovery, creating a supportive path toward lasting change.

Treatment includes individual, group, and family therapy along with case management, life skills training and job search. Medication management is available for those with co-occurring mental health disorders.

It’s neat that there’s priority for adult women ages 18 to 50, including pregnant and postpartum women, trauma survivors, and those with co-occurring mental health conditions. Mothers may bring up to three children (ages 0 to 9) to live with them during treatment. Court-referred individuals and those involved with the Department of Children and Families are also welcomed.

Payment Options

The center accepts Medicaid, private insurance and state-funded health insurance. Self-pay options, sliding scale fees and scholarship assistance are available for eligible clients.

Feel free to contact Susan B. Anthony Center to schedule an assessment and learn which program fits your family’s needs.
