About Rolling Hills Dallas

Rolling Hills Recovery offers structured sober living homes for adults. They’re based in Dallas and Garland, Texas. The facility has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The RISD Academy isn’t too far away by car.

With a focus on creating a positive and safe environment, the Rolling Hills provides transitional housing for individuals dedicated to maintaining their sobriety. The program emphasizes personal responsibility, community accountability and spiritual growth to help residents build a solid foundation for long-term recovery.

Rolling Toward Recovery

The flagship offering at Rolling Hills Recovery consists of sober living environments designed for folks already clean and seeking a supportive place to transition back into society. These homes are locally owned and operated, featuring onsite managers who ensure a drug-free atmosphere and strictly enforce house rules. You’d ideally be ready to engage in work and daily recovery activities while living in a comfortable, home-like setting.

Residents in these homes adhere to a structured daily routine that includes mandatory curfews, household chores, and regular attendance at recovery meetings. A core expectation is that residents secure employment within two weeks of move-in, fostering financial independence and self-efficacy. The program integrates the 12 Steps and encourages residents to develop a relationship with a higher power, alongside practical amenities like cable television, computer access and shared living spaces.

Steps to Stability

  • Residents must be sober before moving in and ready to commit to strict house rules.
  • New arrivals receive access to shared amenities and meet the on-site manager and housemates.
  • Be ready to actively search for and secure a job within the first two weeks.
  • Residents follow a schedule of chores, curfews and mandatory recovery meeting attendance.
  • Continued focus on financial planning, goal setting, and nutrition supports the transition to independence.

Support Services and Costs

While Rolling Hills Recovery doesn’t provide medical detox or clinical therapy, it offers essential onsite nutrition classes, financial planning and goal setting. You’ll look and feel healthier. Residents have access to computers to assist with job searches and connecting to outside resources.

Payment is structured as rent, with the first and last week’s rent plus a security deposit due upon move-in via money order or cashier’s check.
