Strict adherence to house rules includes zero tolerance for substance use. Since there are no clinicians, leadership is internal.

Elected officers among residents manage operations under democratic principles. This approach supports accountability and helps address underlying behaviors through peer feedback and consistent routines.

Long-Term Stay

With no fixed stay limit, many men remain for a year or more, gaining stability and support while engaging more deeply with recovery goals. Residents pay via self-pay. Each contributes equally toward rent, utilities and common supplies.

There may be a nonrefundable application fee plus the first portion of dues before moving in. Insurance is not accepted because clinical treatment is not provided; however, occasional financial aid for move-in costs may be available through local nonprofits.
