Magdalene House in Nashville, Tennessee is a free residential substance use treatment provider for women who have experienced addiction, prostitution or human trafficking. The program offers two years of residential care including medical, dental, mental health services, counseling, life skills, education, and job readiness training.

Founded in 1997, its mission is rooted in trauma-informed, relational healing fostered through community, trust, and empowerment.

Residential Care Right in Nashville

Women here will receive trauma-informed and spiritual care including an integrated 12-Step model adapted from Narcotics Anonymous traditions as well as relational healing, and leadership development.

Graduates and residents can work in The Shop, The Café at Thistle Farms, and product lines, combining healing with job skills. The program is fully funded through donations, grants, and social enterprise so no fees or insurance are required from residents.

Residents in later phases mentor newer members and take on leadership roles within the community. The home is located along Charlotte Pike in West Nashville close to shops, restaurants, arts and music attractions, and community resources.
