Hope Community – Big Bend Homeless Coalition in Tallahassee, Florida

About Hope Community – Big Bend Homeless Coalition

Big Bend Homeless Coalition, operated by Hope Community, is a shelter provider offering emergency housing, transitional housing and supportive services. Though not a substance use treatment program, it delivers vital case management, job training and community resource access.

Located in Tallahassee, Florida, the mission is to restore stability and help residents move toward permanent housing through holistic, family-focused support.

Addiction Treatment in Tallahassee

Hope Community does not offer medical detox or rehab services; its continuum begins with emergency shelter for those in immediate crisis and proceeds through transitional housing stays of up to six months, during which case managers help residents prepare for stability.

The focus is housing and life-skills support rather than clinical addiction treatment. Residents can expect comprehensive supportive services such as individualized case management, job training, employment assistance, and connections to external health or mental health services if needed. W

While Hope Community is not structured for dual diagnosis or addiction therapies, its collaborative partnerships with local agencies help residents access broader care when required.
